If you ask too much of yourself for too long, you will run out of energy. This leads to all kinds of physical complaints, emotional instability, poor results at work or tension in your personal relationships. You are exhausted, and in a downward spiral.
Restore the energy balance
Burn-out coaching focuses on recovery and reintegration. The coaching consists of four phases:
- Tackling the exhaustion: the first step is to break the vicious cycle. We will work to restore your energy with the help of practical advice and support. We also look at ‘energy givers’ and ‘energy drainers’ in your professional and private life.
Next, we investigate the possible causes of your burn-out. Are you as enthusiastic about your work as you used to be? Do you have enough influence and control over your situation? Do your qualities and skills match your position? Is there a balance between demands and resources?
- Depending on the causes, we determine what is needed to get back to work with renewed energy. For example: by developing or strengthening particular skills or eliminating structural problems.
- In the final phase, I will guide you through the reintegration process. I can also support you to make the necessary arrangements with the company doctor and/or manager.
