It fascinates me to see how quickly people, through coaching, gain insights that lead to more effective behaviour and increased personal development. I see great progress after only a few coaching sessions. And because coaching deals with motives, beliefs, blockages and blind spots, these new insights are fundamental and initiate lasting change. This leads to personal growth and, for managers, can provide a powerful impulse to the development of the organization.
What appeals to me in my work is that I have the opportunity to coach people in various types of organizations. From small to large, profit to non-profit. The organizations differ in culture and dynamics, and are confronted with very different opportunities and challenges. What’s more, every employee is unique. With his/her own talents, pitfalls and opportunities for growth. My job is to always try to find the best way to help my clients truly maximize their potential and boost their career. It gives me great satisfaction to be able to contribute to this process.
I have been working for various (international) organizations for more than 25 years. From multinationals to government organizations. As an HR manager, Total Quality Manager and interim manager, I was involved in numerous change processes and organizational developments. Because of my managerial experience, I am familiar with the issues and dilemmas of employees, as well as the challenges that managers face. I have extensive experience working with people of different nationalities and from various corporate cultures. Culturally determined perspectives on work and personal development are an exciting, extra dimension for me. I coach in both English and Dutch.
My working method is characterized by short but intensive interactions. A coaching session lasts 3 hours. As a result, you will have gained new insights after only a few sessions.
